Below are detailed itineraries for the available add-on trips. Prices are based on 4-person groups. Trips depart 26th June (immediately after Race Week). 

   

1) Mt. Kilimanjaro Trek  

     $1850-$2035 Per Person, depending on itinerary

  • 5 days Marangu- this is for trekkers who don't have much time and they want to reach the summit of Africa.
    2 pax    -$1,850 per person package
    3-5 pax -$1,800 per person package  
  • 6 days Machame - this is a more adventurous route and suitable for adventure seekers and those who have an extra day at hand.
    2 pax    -$2,100 per person package
    3-5 pax -$2,035 per person package

The cost includes: Return Transfer by shuttle from Nairobi to Arusha \ Accommodation 2 nights at Impala hotel Arusha \ Park fee \ Rescue fee \ Camping fee \ Guide \ Food - 3 meals a day \Cook \Porters \ Transfer to and from the mountain\ Tents

Does not include: Tips /Gratuities | Any item of personal nature i.e climbing gears | Any other extra activity

2) Mount Kenya Trek (Naro-Moru to Sirimon)
     $550 Per Person Package
  • Day 1.
    Transfer from Base Hotel to Naro-Moru Park Gate. A 3-4 hour hike through the tropical and bamboo forest takes you t o Met Station (3,300m) where you will have your dinner and overnight.

  • Day 2.
    After breakfast, you head uphill to the track to pass the Radio Mast on your right after about half an hour. After another 30 minutes walk you will reach the end of the forest belt and enter the Moorland. After 5-6hrs from Met Station, you finally arrive at the Mackinder’s camp, which is at (4300m) in the Teleki valley. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

  • Day 3.
    After an early morning breakfast at 4.00a.m, the trek leads through steep screed to the Austrian Hut at (4790m). Here there will be a short break before the final ascend to point Lenana (4985m) via Lewis Glacier for a spectacular sunrise and photos. During a clear day, the two majestic peaks of Mt.Kilimanjaro, Uhuru and Mawezi can be seen, you descend through the northern side via Simba Col to Shimpton’s (4200m). Dinner and overnight will be at the Judimier camp, which is about 3hrs, descending from Shimpton. Walking time approximately 10-12hrs. 

  • Day 4.
    After breakfast you finally descend to Sirimon Park Gate. It takes about 2-3 hrs and after saying bye to the crew, the vehicle awaits you for transfer to Nanyuki  and then to Nairobi for your international flight.
  • Mt. Kenya 4-day trek: $550 per person

  • The price includes: Transfers; Park entrance fees; accommodation; food (3 meals a day); Guide; Cook; Unlimited Game drives.
    Price does not include: Items of personal nature i.e personal spending money; other extra activities i.e. ballooning, cultural visits; tips/gratuities.

3) Kenya Safari

    $1500 Per Person Package

  • Day 1: Nanyukito Nakuru
    Lake Nakuru is widely known for its masses of flamingos. At 1530hrs embark for an afternoon game drive. This is a chance to visit a unique sanctuary catering for a sizable number of the endangered Rhino and the Baringo or Rothschild Giraffe. The park is also home to water buck Impala, Zebras, Buffaloes, Lions, and Leopard. Also to be seen is a myriad different variety of bird life in and around the lake. Flamingos are also plenty, reflecting pink colors on the lake. Overnight at Sarova lion hill club. (Meal plan: Lunch and dinner)
  • Day 2: Nakuru to Mara
    After morning game drive, back to the lodge for breakfast and depart for Mara. Your drive to the Reserve will take you through the beautiful Ngong Hills and into Kenya's vast Savannah.Upon arrival check in to tented camp, unpack your gear and prepare for an afternoon game drive and your first sightings of Africa’s many majestic animal species. Tonight, if you’re lucky, a serenade by the local lion population will help you drift off to sleep. overnight at Sarova Mara Game camp. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner)

  • Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve
    Up and at them for your first full day of game drives! Following breakfast you’ll head out in the safari vehicle to search for game and the park substantial elephant population. The vast plains and Mara river bank are an excellent spots for viewing crocodiles and hippos. If lucky you will catch a glimpse of many wildebeest crossing Mara river for better and green pasture! Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game camp. (Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Day 4: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
    After breakfast and morning game drive, depart to Nairobi with game drive and lunch en route arriving in the evening. (Meal plan:Breakfast and Lunch). Dinner and accommodation by own arrangement /flight home.
